I like it. It has a nice meaning, and sounds like someone who is proudly eccentric and fun.

Lovely meaning and sound. I associate it with the Us character.

It's ... okay. I don't love the way it sounds. Back in 2006 there was a baby Zora among the children of a mom's group I joined (Austin). It seemed like a typical 'hipster name' at the time and I thought it was neat, just nms. (We also had a Greenleigh, a Kavan, a Matison, and a Sophia.) I think Zora should remind me more of Zora Neale Hurston, but it only kinda does. It also kinda reminds me of Zhora, the dancer replicant in original Blade Runner. Oddly, I think it reminds me more of the clothing store Zara, than Zara itself does - but that's probably because I'm better acquainted with a girl named Zara today, and I only met Zora as an infant. I like Zara more than I like Zora, but Zora is pretty cool.

My first association is the fish people from the Zelda games. However, that's not a bad association, necessarily. I think it sounds nice - it obviously shares some similarities with Zara, which is another name I like. It's definitely is a little off the beaten path, so it might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I think it has some charm and is usable.

I think the exoticness appeals to me, but I don't all the way like how it sounds. It might be able to grow on me though.
