Anda and Marcus, Logan International Adoption Center is pleased to inform you that we have found 5 children to become part of your family.Ziva Leah (Leah) is a 12 year old girl from Israel. She came to the Jerusalem center when she was 9, after her parents could not afford to take care of her anymore. She has Asperger's Syndrome. Leah is very smart, but has some social problems. Her parents couldn't pay for her medicine. Leah has a dog named Tikva, a golden retriever, that she got as a goodbye present from her parents. She is happy that we have told her that she is going to a home with other pets and that she can bring Tikva.Kalo Aleksandr and Tatiana Marina (Tanya) are 3-year-old twins from Russia. They were left on the step of the Moscow Center just a year ago. The twins are very quiet and helpful. We suspect that they might have been abused verbally, because they get scared whenever someone shouts. Kalo has developed a minor case of asthma, so he has learned to use an inhaler with some assistance. Kalo and Tanya love to play music on the Center's instruments and sing. They are very creative.Josef Michal, 13 years old, and Klara Marie, 6 years old, are siblings from the Czech Republic. Their mother left them, and their father started to become abusive. Fearing for his sister's life and his own life, Josef took Klara and a few possessions and ran away. After finding them on the streets, the Prague Center worked with the police to get their father to relinquish custody to us. Klara is very attached to Josef. She also loves her kitten, Zbelet. Josef is very loving and protective of Klara. He is also an athletic boy, and wishes to play sports. We are pleased to place these 5 children with you, and hope that they will be happy. We would love it if you provide us with updates on their new lives.

Dear Logan International Adoption Center; Thank you very much for letting us adopt these five children! It has been six months since they all came to live in Colorado with us and we are pleased to report that they are adjusting well. Josef, our oldest, recently celebrated his fourteenth birthday with some of his new friends. We are surprised at how well Josef accepted Marcus, as his father had been abusive. The two enjoy a fulfilling relationship. Josef is playing soccer and gets good grades. Leah, 12, is adjusting better than we expected. At first, she was very moody and irritable, but after we established a routine she was a lot better. She is going to a regular school, but has therapy three days a week. We have found that Leah has really bonded with our horses. She loves feeding them and leading them around. Tikva, Leah's golden retriever, gets on well with our dogs and seems happy here. Kent, 7, loves his new brothers and sisters. He especially likes having Josef as an older brother. Kent and Josef play soccer together often and even share a room. Kent plays soccer in an informal league at school. Klara, now also 7, is gaining confidence and independence. She is still very close to Josef, but is beginning to experience the joys of life for herself. Klara and Rory became fast friends and they have tea parties and play house together often. Klara's kitten, Zbelet, is growing into a clever young cat. He likes playing in the barn and has found many hiding places in the hayloft and the attic. However, he always comes when Klara calls.
