[Opinions] Re: Top 10 for December
in reply to a message by PrincessZ
I like:
Adrien
Wilbur (this is a total GP of mine; I wish it didn't make so many people think of old men or little pigs)
Alistair
Julian
Aries (though I prefer the Greek Ares)
&
Sakura
Cassandra
Raven
I also like River, but prefer it as a feminine name. (I blame Firefly for this.)
Of your "honorable mentions," I like:
Theodore
&
Willow
Brooke
Lily
Violet

Honestly the only times I've heard River been used is on a boy xD one in real life (though not an immediate contact so I have no association) and the other being King River from Star vs. I think it's one of those great and rare truly genderless names
and omg I so agree with Wilbur like I get it, I also grew up with Charlotte's Web (I watched the 70s version a lot), but we don't look at Charlotte and go "ew I only ever think of spiders with that name" like Wilbur is a perfectly good name xD I've also never met anybody in real life called Wilbur and the only fictional uses I've ever seen are on young boys (Wilbur Robinson from Meet the Robinsons mainly) and Wilbur the pig, no old men here
