[Opinions] Ruth
This happens to me by great grandmothers first name, my mothers middle name and mine and I would love to use this as a middle name when and if I become a parent. Is the family association to much? Two of my half brothers have the same name as my father and so often males use their names on their sons and it used to be so common and my half brother, with a different father is Adam the second. My other brother, Allan, has a middle name honoring my mom's grandfather, Buchier, and my brother who my mom lost was given a middle name in honor of her uncle who died of diabetes. I was also almost named after a great Aunt of mine so my family has done this. Also, what combos do you like?
Persephone Ruth
Temperance Ruth
Dafne Ruth
Bianca Ruth nn Bia (a name my mother nearly used on me)
Florence Ruth (Florence is my great grandma Ruth's mother)
Henrietta Ruth
Adelaide Ruth
Sophie Ruth
Severine Ruth
Adelaide Ruth
Esther Ruth
Magdalena Ruth
Lucienne Ruth
Gwenaelle Ruth
Clementine Ruth
Elanor Ruth
Emmeline Ruh
Emilia Ruth
Emerentiana Ruth

I wouldn’t use Ruth as a first name but I think it’s just right for a middle name as it’s not too common a name and it’s short so you could have any length name before it, really. I like:
Persephone Ruth
Florence Ruth
Henrietta Ruth
Esther Ruth
Magdalena Ruth
Clementine Ruth
Emmeline Ruth
Estelle Ruth
Pearl Ruth

I don't think it's too much, and honouring family members is a lovely tradition. I like Florence Ruth, Adelaide Ruth, and Josephine Ruth.

I prefer Adeline to Adelaide, and Lucinda to Lucienne, Gwendolyn/Gwyneth to Gwenaelle, Amelia to Emilia

Nope. Marie has been a family name on my mother's side just like your Ruth has, and I wish to use it myself. You shouldn't feel like you can't carry on a name like that for fear of being eyed by far-too-judgemental peopleOut of your combos I like these the best;Persephone Ruth
Bianca Ruth
Elanor Ruth
