[Opinions] Re: Morton/Mort
Um, both. Like maybe he's an annoying, dweeby kid brother who has a cool older sister named Maud / Matilda / Mavis / Marigold / Olive / Delilah.I think it's more fun than Martin, at least, and less unfortunate than Melvin.

I think it's worse than Martin and Melvin. Martin has a tough guy vibe, and Mel is, at least, a cool nickname. Morton is dorky as hell.

"Martin has a tough guy vibe" -wow, I don't get that from it at all. Martin wears short sleeve button downs with a tie, in my mind.I've never really liked Mel as masculine, while Mort or Mors seems kinda fun to me.

It's a classic working class guy name to me...middle aged, thick accent, works construction or something, has some sad life story involving addiction or growing up in the projects or whatever.

Same but I get that his sad life story is that he's always broke and living paycheck by paycheck because he can't stop spending it all at the pub

Wow, really ... Martin seems smart, witty, dapper and sexy, to me.
Its main problem is being dated.

Middle aged with 'some sad life story' is closer to how I see it than 'tough guy', but mostly it just seems generic and so, so bland, like a puffed rice cake.Martin could fit in with names I'd match to the description you gave, like Anthony or Louis, maybe, but I'd sooner connect it to something more dorky like Stewart. All that said, I don't actually dislike it! I think it has potential. For the moment, it's super boring to me, though.
