This is an interesting one.
My first thought is "I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration." etc., etc.. Because I'm a nerd.
My second thought is "No. No way. Dune is just not name material. Sure, as a middle name, why not. But not a first name."
And lastly... I was thinking... Australia... Australian accents... Dune sounding like
June... somehow this name... Dune, I can totally picture it. A little scrappy Australian boy named Dune. It's totally fine. Somehow, because you're Australian, this name is totally appropriate and fine and cool. But I absolutely can't imagine it being a name on an English boy or an American boy.
I like it even. But only when I imagine it spoken in an Australian accent with your elongated vowel sounds.
