Help[Surname] Kazetani
Hey, everyone, I'd like to discuss the Japanese surname Kazetani (https://surnames.behindthename.com/name/kazetani/submitted).
Meaning: Kazetani (風谷) is derived from the Japanese words 風 (kaze, "wind") and 谷 (tani, "valley"), therefore resulting in the name meaning "windy valley".
Frequency/Rarity: According to Kanshudo, Kazetani is not a common Japanese surname (hence why I marked it as rare).
Bearers of the name: I was able to find info about two people who bear Kazetani as their surname—Mia Kazetani (風谷 美亜 Kazetani Mia), an employee at Studio Targe, and Nayu Kazetani (風谷 南友 Kazetani Nayu), an actress.

I found another person who bears this surname: Neo Kazetani (風谷 音緒 Kazetani Neo), a former adult video actress and stripper. That's all I'm gonna say about her. (If this came off as inappropriate, I apologize.)

You were right. Its pretty rare. I found no one that you didn't find. There's more fictional characters with the name than there are citable people. Pretty interesting. Thank you for sharing that with us.
