Even though Patrick is on my PNL, at the moment I'm so bored by it that the only thing I'm motivated to say is that I'm bored with it.

I see it as quite the stereotypical dad name of the 90s/2000s kids. Sits nicely next to David, George, Robert, Stephen and John.

For me it's far too dated to use today, and does not sound pleasant, personally

I see that you're from England...I'm surprised it's dated there. I'm American and I know plenty of people born in the 90s who are named Patrick, and it's still popular in my state for babies.

I am equally surprised to find it still in common baby use in the US. I'd never expect to meet a Patrick under middle age

I've never really cared for it until last year I looked after a little Patrick. He will be 3 next month and it really does suit him. I like that he sometimes gets called "Patchy".

I think it has a pleasant established-yet-fresh feel to it, and I like it in combos a lot of times, but I've never been able to love the meaning. And I hate Pat.
