[Opinions] Alaia and Anais
I have a 'thing' for A names and two of the latest I have added to my list are Alaia and Anais. I love the meaning of Alaia and it sounds so melodic to me. Anais sounds offbeat and quirky, yet pretty to me so I like it.
WDYT?

I love them. Anais is beautiful and yes, off-beat and quirky, and I agree that Alaia has a most beautiful meaning. It's very soft-sounding as well.
Since you happen to like 'A' names, do you like Aglaïa?

Aglaia isn't too bad...I just really don't like the 'GLAY' sound in it. But the meaning is lovely!
Bear! Long time, no talk! :)
Count me in: Aglaïa, Alaïa, Anaïs and Athenaïs. :D I think I've found another favourite to add to my ever-growing list.

I'm not familiar with Alaia. It looks very pretty and has a sweet meaning. How is it pronounced? "ah-LAY-a?" "ah-lah-EE-a?" Another way?
Anais is irresistable to me. I love names with two distinct vowel sounds together. You might like the name Aelia. I heard / read it first in "I, Claudius." She was a minor character, but her name stuck with me. They (BBC) pronounced it "AY-lia." It is an ancient Roman name. The male conterpart is Aelius.
