I honestly think you've got a winner! The elision really doesn't matter, because the whole name string is so seldom spoken out loud, and the combo is stylish. As long as you can resist naming a daughter Lucy, all will be well.

That said, my ancestry and naming preferences are pretty much yours, and I've always liked Idris, and also Imran. Based on Pakistani cricket, mostly, though Idris can also be Welsh, of course.
