It reminds me of lizards or sea monsters.

I think it's a one-off name. Coming back from the dead is a very hard act to follow.

It's okay, sounds quirky in a Southern Gothic type way. Reminds me of the song "Blood on My Name" and the Bible story.

I love the sound of it, but its biblical link to resurrection has led to it often being associated with zombies in pop culture.

I think it’s a bit too much for a little kid, but maybe you could shorten it to “Laz”?
