Drexel
Fulton
Conrad
G.K. (yes, this was seriously on the list)
Guy
Ignatius
Jerome
Judah or Jude
Louis
Merton
Rex
Shepherd
Simeon
Solanus (she recommends the cute nickname Sully)
Titus*
Xavier
Urban (the fact that see suggested this makes me think she's unaware of the very corrupt early popes.)Angelica
Brielle
Caeli (cha-li, from Regina Caeli)
Charlotte
Colbie (to honor St Maximilian Kolbe. But Charlotte is a bit of a stretch according to her...)
Dinah
Dorothy
Edie
Faustina
Felicity*
Flannery
Jael
Jordan*
Keturah*
Lily*
Leah*
Philomena
Phoebe
Rosary (if I ever get pregnant I'm going to tell my mother-in-law I'm leaving the baby that, just for the reaction)
Sarai
Siena
Stella*
Talitha
Verity
Zelie - I've seen this in several different places. St. Zelie, mother of St. Therese, was recently canonized.
the majority of these names made me roll my eyes, either because they're not that unique (Brielle, Stella, Charlotte) or they're a complete and total stretch (Drexel, Colbie) Some are also somewhat problematic when it comes to theology, history, and/or the Bible (Urban, Merton). I do like Ambrose, Blaise, Solanus, Jerome and Phoebe. I appreciate Ignatius and Flannery. What are your thoughts on all of these? What other names do you think are very Catholic? Note: I've just been thinking about Catholic names recently, it's a few people I know are pregnant and talking about names. I'm not expecting nor do I plan to be.

I like Claire, Veronica, Maria, Katherine, Monica, Peter (Peter James is a cool combo), Rebecca Anne, I love Heidi Elise though I don't find it particularly "Catholic", Samantha Joy, Giselle Hannah, Thomas John, Christine, Fulton, Angelica, Brielle, Caeli, Faustina, Felicity, Jael, Lily, Rosary could be a cool Catholicky middle name but I don't think it could work well as a FN, Sarai, Stella, Verity, Zelie (I've seen a lot of little Zelies and Azelies online in Catholic families so this one definitely feels "Catholic").

I'm not sure if you are aware of this, but not all Catholic people have "Catholic" names. For instance, my name is Zhara Adelina (insert surname). Neither of those names are "Catholic", but I am a Catholic. In my area, "Catholic" names aren't the "thing" that every Catholic person has/names their child. I like Conrad, Judah, Jude, Louis, Angelica, Brielle, Charlotte, Dorothy, Phoebe, and Stella.BTW, Colbie would honor St. Colette of Colbie much more than it would St. Maximilian Kolbe.
