I love Adnan, Ali, Faisal, Ihsan, Asad, Rahim, Isa (!!), Hassan, and Idris (!!). I know people with a lot of these names and I think they're all nice. Idris and Isa are names I'd plan to use myself if I had boys!

Of these names Hashim is my favorite,I'd consider using it for a middle name if I had a son.

I like
Anwar - This one may be my favorite
Zayd
Ali - cute
Ibrahim
Idris - Idris Elba!I dislike
Hussain - My least favorite. This name has too much baggage.
Khalil / Khaleel
Mohammed/ Muhammad
Farid / Fareed - It sounds unpleasant like fetid.

Thank you for making this. We don't have very many threads on non-European names, particularly masculine ones.I like:Farid
Sayid (I often saw this as Syed growing up - my high school district had a significant Pakistani population)
Ihsan
Asad
Hassan
IdrisOn my PNL I also have Faris, Ilyas, Isam, and Navid, as well as some Persian names.

My favorites:
Salim -I'm kind of obsessed with Salim / Selim right now since I rewatched FMA, it's so pleasant to the ear and I imagine a sibset with Émile
Idris -it's pretty versatile and international
Adnan -ditto
Anwar -hmm I kind of thought this name was French or English or something
Majid -ooh I really like the strong '-JEED' sound, so coolJust okay:
Ihsan
Faisal -this is an interesting one
Hassan
Farid
Sa'id -I like the softness of this name
Isa
Karim -sounds kinda old-school but it's still good
ZaydBoring:
Khalil -it's too close to Khalid which is overused
Hussain
Mohammed -it's kinda got this air of self-importance I don't like
Hashim
Ali -it's so overused and stereotypical
Ibrahim
Asad
Rahim -it looks similar to names I'd like, but it doesn't do anything for me
