I think it's adorable. I prefer Louisa, but Eloise is still up there. I wouldn't want it shortened to Ellie, though. I know one little Eloise called Weesie, which I think is cute (though I know lots of people don't).

I also knew a Weesie! My school friend Ann's youngest sister. The sibset were Ann, Karen, Lucinda = Cindy and Eloise = Weesie. She was cute and adorable, and would have adorned any name. My favourite was Cindy, though; I named my cat after her.
