I have a real soft spot for this name. I generally tend to like virtue names, so this one fits right in. The Beatles song is absolutely lovely. And plus I love the way it feels to say it. It reminds me of that rumour that the Olsen twins used to whisper the word “prunes” to each other before a photo was snapped so that they’d always be making the perfect “flattering” faces. I put that in quotation marks because I never actually loved that look. But it’s still fun to say.But now that I’ve mentioned prunes, I can get around to the reason I’d probably never use the name in real life. People already associate virtue names with that divisive grandma trend, but the aesthetic link to the word prunes just puts it over the top and kind of makes me think of old people and their love of natural laxatives.

I associate it more with prude than prune, but that reinforces the old-fashioned impression as well.
