[Opinions] Jade on a boy
I saw the name Jade being used on a boy (about 18-22 y/o?). At first I was a bit taken aback, but it kind of grew on me after I thought about it. He was quite skinny and had a darker/grunge aesthetic. I honestly could not image a footballer or buff/masculine man called Jade. Or maybe I could...Wdyt?

Ive met a young man named Jade too. I think I prefer it on a boy after seeing that

I don't see why not. Especially with names like Jasper, Jay and Jaden it wouldn't be weird to see a male Jade. I think the sound itself is more masculine, although the meaning would be more feminine.

The first time I ever heard the name Jade, it was on a guy and I've since met another male Jade. I love Jade on a girl. It's okay on a guy but I worry about teasing as it is usually used on girls.

I know one! He’s in his 50s. I like it - unexpected but you get used to it quickly. I think it’s kinda cool.

Jaden / Jayden was so popular that it doesn't surprise me. I prefer just Jade over those. It's okay.

I taught a Jade who was a field athlete - discus, shot-put - and soccer player. Big boy, and entirely masculine! And a very pleasant, courteous person: he had a younger sister named Amber, so clearly the family (of Greek descent) had a theme going. He did a Commerce degree and joined his father's firm as an auctioneer, which I believe he's very successful at.

I don't like it for either gender.
