Too much for everyday use; pretty; maybe a mn?
I thought about that. What first names suggestions do you have to go with Francesca? I mostly like flowers, but any sughestions could work.
One of my favorite names for a girl. I like the nickname Frankie.
Love it.
I've always liked it. I don't really know why.
dont like it, sounds very religious, would work better in Europe

is it pronounced FRAN-CHES-KA with a CH sound or FRAN-SEHS-KA with an S sound? I like the name Frances, but I don't think I'm a fan of Francesca. Partly because of a television show I recently watched, but mostly because I don't like the CH pronunciation.
Since it's an Italian name, my default pronunciation of Francesca is with the CH, because in Italian a C followed by an E would produce that sound.
On a side note, I did see once the variant Franchesca, which I imagine was used to prevent people from pronouncing the first C like an S; however, the "Ch" in Italian produces a hard-C, so looking at that spelling hurt my eyes.

I like it, enough for it to be possibly in the Top 10 to name another daughter in real life. A strong but feminine name and not too common.
I don’t mind it, but my name gets mistaken for it a lot of the time. It’s basically what my nursery teacher called me so that’s the annoying association I have with it.
Love it! Very pretty. It’s fancy while remaining grounded.
