A woman I know, recently gave birth to fraternal twin boys, born a minute apart. Yesterday morning she and her boyfriend welcomed into the world: Jesse James & Jaxson Terrence.
The woman also has a 7 YO daughter from a previous relationship, named Natalie. (I don't know the middle name. Sorry) So together it's, Jesse, Jaxson & Natalie
What are your thoughts on the names individually or as a set? Share your overall opinions.

Jesse James = silly for a real kid. Even without the association it's too singsongy and matchy.
Jaxson is weird. I understand Jaxon because it's like Jackson but Saxon, kinda. But with the x and the s there's a redundant sound. Jackson makes more sense anyway (and Jackson Terrence would be a pretty good name).
I don't like the two J's in the same sibset either. If I could change it I'd call one James and the other Terrence.
Jesse and Natalie together sound very 90's (so does the whole sibset actually).

I have to be honest, I agree. The alliteration is rather disappointing, especially when it seems that most twins nowadays have names that are either TOO similar or begin with the same letter. I personally don't care for alliteration sets, especially on twins or other multiples.

I will never understand why people keep naming their kids Jesse James. Really, I don't get it. They are both nice names, but Jesse James is quite well-known and he was a real person, who killed other real people in the course of robbery. A detective, a bank clerk, a couple railroad men ...what is the attraction here?

Yeah, Terrence does seem to be the "odd one out" here and it wasn't a name I would have expected. I was surprised to see it. I assume it might be after a relative, a late uncle or grandfather or something. Also it's possible that they just simply liked it. Either way, there are definitely much better names out there compared to it. /:

I’m sorry, but Jaxson is horrendous. No nicer way to put it. Just really harsh and unattractive, not to mention tryndee. Terrence isn’t too nice either.
And Jesse James? Like the famous outlaw? Nope. Jesse and James are fine when alone, just don’t put them together.
The only name here that I like is Natalie.

Well I definitely agree with what you are saying. My thoughts are pretty much the same as yours, although I wouldn't say that I like Natalie. I feel neutral towards it. And even though Jesse James is forever synonymous with the outlaw, I do feel that he got the better name compared to his brother who will likely spend his life constantly correcting people. Jackson is a fine name. No need to alter the spelling.
