Skipper is so ridiculous. It's a puppy's name, or a little boy's nn if his parents don't want to call him Junior or AJ. And the only female Skipper was Barbie's little sisster.

Clover Kitty sounds like a child's stuffed animal.

Skipper Hudson is an old man in a fishing town who was a sailor in his youth. He's got a large white beard and a dumb hat and a pipe, and is kind of crotchety and ornery but always telling stories about "back in my day."

Sorry, but I don’t like any of the children’s names. Skipper Hudson sounds too masculine for a girl and Clover Kitty is way too childish.

Skipper seems like a lame spinoff of Sailor. And it sounds like skip her.

Those are both terrible. Did they think they were naming rabbits?

I don't mind Skipper as a nickname, but Skipper Hudson is not very nice. I also don't like Gene, I think it's very dated.
