This was my grandma’s name. Actually it was her nickname but it what everyone called her. I can only think of her.
I like it. I think it's on my PNL, but I don't feel like checking.
I don’t mind it.
I’d never use it, ever, and probably would classify it as “hillbilly” and somewhat ugly, but I actually wouldn’t mind to meet a little Bonnie.
I have known of two Bonnies... one was a few years older than I, when I was a teenager, super sweet, lots of fun to be around. Probably is in her later 30’s, early 40’s now. Had a brother named Zack, which always seemed an odd sibset to me.
The other is an elderly aunt of my husbands. Never met her, but everything I heard about her was wonderful and how sweet she is, so those are the associations I have with the name, both of which are good. I just don’t think it changes my like for the name much.

I used to know a Bonnie - haven't seen her in years, but we're in our late 20s. Anyway, I bring up age because I was rather surprised to meet a Bonnie my age. I'd perceived Bonnie to be a bit dated prior, mainly a name from my mom's generation. Yet it actually sounded... well, youthful and happy. Then there is, of course, little Bonnie in the second two Toy Story movies, which could aid a youthful perception.
Hate it.
I like it, but something stops me from loving it or considering using it. I think it's because I live in a bilingual (French and English) area and "bon" makes me think of common words and expressions in French. That being said, I think it really suits the actor who played Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter films. Her name is Bonnie Francesca Wright, and I really like that combo.
I LOVE Bonnie. But I seem to be in the minority. Sadly my husband has vetoed this for any future daughters we may have but it remains on my long list. Oh well, maybe for a dog!
I think Bonnie is super sweet but not sickly - I think I owe the spunkiness of my opinion to Bonnie from The Vampire Diaries which is my main association with the name.
