[Opinions] Isabel
I know most of you are sick of hearing about this name. But my love for it will not die. It's just so, so, so pretty.
What do you think of Isabel? Is it tired? Or can you still see its beauty despite its overuse?

Love it
To be honest, I still love it even though it's used frequently.
I prefer the spelling Isobel and I have considered using it as a MN as it was my great grandmothers name.

I like Isabel a lot, when I think about it. But usually in my mind it's overshadowed by Isabella, because I know Isabellas but no Isabels. I think of Isabel as being fairly rare. I'm not sick of hearing about it. It's not tired IMO, and if it is, it's a lot less tired than Annabelle. Less of a fad name, more classic.
Isabella has become pretty common, but it's like Alison or Jessica I think, stays appealing even after the fad is over.
I dislike Isabelle, as much as Annabelle. It's like Madelynne, overdone.

It's pretty but feels dated. So many of them.
It's okay. Better than Isabella, and better than Annabelle. Less cutesy and overblown than either. But it's nothing really special.

I think it looks pretty, but I can't get over how it sounds like "is a bell."
It’s the name of a very good friend of mine. I like it, though it has the potential to become a bit dated.
I love Isabel. I think it’s probably in my top ten names. I just think it’s so pretty, girly, spunky... I love the sound of it. I would use it in a heartbeat.
It’s lovely. I still like it, despite its overuse. I prefer the Isobel spelling though.
I enjoy Isabel, too. I had Isabel Wren as a combo in my Top 10 for a while, it felt quite medieval. The Isobel spelling is okay, but I find Isabelle too frilly. And Isabella is just too much (for me).
Isabel isn't in my Top 10 anymore, but she's still on my PNL.

All that matters is whether you love the name and think it’s beautiful :) Go with your heart!
I think it's ugly as sin. Always have.
The first time I watched Ladyhawke (I think that's how it's written) I thought Isabeau was such a cool name. But good luck shaking the "is a bow" association if you use it in real life. (Strangely, Isabel doesn't get labeled "is a bell," although I get that vibe when it's in the middle name slot.)
The “is a bell” thing does happen. I got it as a kid. Didn’t bother me too much, there are worse names/teasing out there. I mostly only get compliments on it.

I like Isabelle over Isabel because Isabel looks incomplete to me.
My friend also Cody's cousin has a daughter named Isabelle
