It’s a bit of a perpetual toddler name. I know they exist, but I have a hard time picturing a grown man named Schuyler. A lawyer or salesman in a suit with greying hair, a bit of a paunch and a five-o’-clock shadow? I just can’t make it fit in my mind.

If you go with it I’m 100% behind using the traditional spelling though.
