[Opinions] Re: Claire, Rachel, Naomi
in reply to a message by a.red.red.rose
I love Naomi. She's atypical but not unheard of, and has a lot of spark to her. The trick is to find a good middle name for her - my Naomi Olympia isn't getting good feedback in the polls. And I've had both Naomi Willow and Naomi Tamsin in my Top 10 in the past.
Claire is nice, though as a first name I prefer Clara. I've used Claire as a middle in combos, though.
Rachel is classic and spunky, yet also office-friendly. It's not a "pretty" name, but feminine names don't always have to be "pretty."
(I think both Naomi Claire and Naomi Rachel - if you don't think it's too biblical - would be good combos!)
Anne is sweet, especially if you use the nickname Annie. Despite previously being a classic, Anne looks like she might become dated, though (Anna has more enduring popularity); so that's something to consider.
I don't like Judith at all, though, I'm sorry. Too harsh.
