Not only is it very dated, but the “barb” aspect is very unappealing. Who wants to be named after a sharp pointy thing designed to grab, stick or hurt you? It’s also not a very pleasant mouth feel when I say it. And although Barbie dolls aren’t as popular as they once were, they’re still a huge thing everybody’s heard of, and they’re almost synonymous with superficiality.
