Congratulations Sarah and Drew,
Your new children are 9 year old Donald Alec, 5 year old Eoghan Norman and 2 year old Katriona Ealasaid.
These three brothers and sister have been taken into care after being found in a household where they were left to fend for themselves, as a result of this neglect they have trouble trusting adults, so it will take a while for them to warm to you. Katriona has Foetal Alcohol Syndrome and moderate learning difficulties.

Emma is enjoying having some more children around the house, since Drew and I couldn't have any more. The kids are still adjusting to us, six months after the adoption was finalised. Donald, 9, is a huge help with his younger siblings. He likes to take care of them more than anything and sometimes doesn't let us go near them. Eoghan, now six, really warmed up to Emma. He is thriving in his small first grade class and we hope he'll continue to do well. For Katriona, we are seeking medical help. Neither Drew nor I know anything about foetal Alcohol Syndrome, so we're hoping the doctors can give us more information. We enrolled Katriona in a HeadStart program that is sort of like Early Intervention. Since we already know she'll have learning difficulties, we want to give her as much help and support as possible.

Thankyou for the update on Donald, Eoghan and Katriona, it is very good to hear that they are all settling in well in your home. It sounds like you are pulling out all the stops for Katriona and I am sure she will reward you with progress.
