[Opinions] Re: Judas?
May I interest you in Yehudah? I really don’t see how you can see Judas as “noble, warm and compassionate” especially if you’re Christian. Even in a secular context, it’s a synonymous of traitor, plus Judas windows in prisons."We have met the enemy and he is us" Walt Kelly

I’m aware of that, and I wasn’t planning to use Judas on a child. I was talking about the sound when I said “noble, warm and compassionate”, because it reminds me of Julius and June. I would still never use it, obviously, but that’s just what it reminds me of besides Iscariot. I’m not too interested in Yehudah.

I find it incredibly hard to separate the sound from the implications of name (and tend not to see names in abstract terms of sound). The -das sound anyway makes it seem very different from Julius or other Ju- names.
