I absolutely LOVE Matilda, but don't really like Tillie. It is sort of cute, though.

I had a great aunt named Matilda nn Tillie. I think Tillie is a nice nn but I don't care for Matilda.

I love Matilda but Tillie is the name of my great-grandmother's old grumpy cat so I don't really like it (although I can see the cuteness appeal). I prefer the nickname Mattie for Matilda.

I like Matilda, but it seems to be getting popular in certain circles. :-/ Tillie / Tilly is definitely my favorite nn for it, too, but I prefer just Matilda (never Mattie, though!).

I think that Tillie is a wonderful nickname. I don;t like Matilda that much though.

Tilly is my preferred spelling and it is what I'd call my daughter if I ever had a Matilda. I like it and I think it's cute.
