[Opinions] Eilidh
Do you think Eilidh is usable? Do you know if it is pronounced AY-lee or EYE-lee?

I was under the impression it was pronounced AY-lee, with Ailie being a potential Anglicization. It's a very pretty name, but I question how convenient a name it would be outside of areas of Scottish influence.

I’m Scottish and it’s pronounced AY-lee. It’s a really nice name and is actually quite common here

AY-leeIt would need introducing to most people but they'd pick it up quickly. I just think it has a really empty, but current sound. I'd rather be the popular Isla because at least it has lovely island imagery.

I've only heard it pronounced "AY-lee." I doubt anyone would pronounce it correctly where I live (US) so I wouldn't use it, but it's a very pretty name.

My cousin used it for her daughter’s middle name, pronounced AY-lee.
