As I'm sure you know, I love Eliza and it's been #2 on my list for a long time now.
Usually I don't like short forms of names as formal names, but for some reason Eliza doesn't bother me. I think of it as its own name apart from Elizabeth (which I also love). To me, it seems pretty Southern (US) and old fashioned with lots of history.
Apart from Susannah and Oliver, which are top of my lists, I like Louisa and William with Eliza.
