I like it. I slightly prefer it on a boy but feel it probably works better on a girl.

While I find it to be pretty and leaning more toward a girl because the sh gives it a feminine quality, I can also see it on a boy.

For a human, I’m going with “girl”, but honestly it just sounds like a dog name.

I suppose a battlefield is typically masculine! But Shiloh sounds so close to Sheila, and in that Neil Diamond song (OK, he spells it Shilo) the reference is to the persona's imaginary friend from childhood; after an unsuccessful relationship with a real woman, he conforts himself with the memory of Shiloh ... which seems to indicate that she was a she.Apart from the song, I've never encountered it as a human name, male or female. I'm slowly warming up to Sheila, though.

Boy, but also it's mostly a dog name in my mind because of a book I read as a kid.Shiloh Alasdair

I'm not a fan. I don't like the "shy" part and it reminds me of "silo." I think it works equally well for a boy or girl. It's not become too popular on either side for it to seem to swing one way or the other.Shiloh Benjamin

I consider Shiloh a GP because I actually like it more as a feminine name than a masculine name. But go check the comments on Shiloh and see how the "feminine" opinion is dragged through the mud.

I prefer to use it as a female name, despite the male pop culture associations. What about Shiloh Wren or Shiloh Gale?
Edit: Also, Shiloh Renata

Girl name all the way. I first fell in love with the name when I had a crush on a girl in school named Chilio (pronounced Shiloh)We were planning to use Shiloh Kelly to honor my fiance's mom. But we have decided since he wants to honor his mom, Kelly, his grandmother, Zelda, and I wanna honor my angel baby. We would just use Mitchell for a boy since Zelda was a Mitchell, Kelly's maiden name was Mitchell, and my first baby's last name would have been Mitchell.

I like it, only for a boy. Angelina did not automatically change the gender for me, unlike the rest of the world. Though she may have stigmatized a name I might otherwise adore.

It seems so silly and pretentious as a person's name. Very Hollywood. I consider it a dog's name.

I really dislike it.Girl, I suppose. But that’s because I think of Shiloh Jolie-Pitt (who goes by John, though, IIRC). Middle names:
Shiloh Leonora
Shiloh Juliette
Shiloh Andrea
Shiloh Maria
Shiloh Anina

I had no idea they went by John, now. You learn something new every day.
