This is my baby cousin's name. His name is Carter George, which I think is adorable. He was named after Joe Carter the baseball player who won Toronto the '93 World Series. Even though it is a last name and should be unisex, it feels masculine to me. Not sure why!
From your list, Carter Joshua is my favourite I think. Carter Thomas is cute too.
