[Opinions] Remi. WDYT?
What do you think of the female name Remi? It’s a user submitted name, but really riding in popularity. I think it’s in the top 200 now!

For a boy, yes. For a girl, no.

I love the name Remi / Remy, but only for a boy. It is traditionally a masculine name and I wish it would’ve stayed that way. For a girl, I love the very similarly sounding Romi / Romy. We went with Remiel for our third DS’s mn, because we loved the sound and meaning, “Mercy of God”.

I like Remy better and I prefer it being used on a boy, but I would enjoy hearing it used either way. Romy would be my personal choice if I wanted something similar on a girl.

I have known both a male and female Remy. The male Remy is now 3 and the female Remi is 11. I wouldn’t find it odd meeting a female Remi and quite like the name.

I think is ok

My grandpa had a sweet, elderly golden lab (or was it a yellow lab?) named Remy who passed away. Remy was male, so I’ve always thought of his name as purely masculine. This spelling looks more androgynous, so I like it on both genders.
