The past ten years have seen big changes in the Miller family. Mark continues working as an EMT, though he has been promoted to supervisor. Sarah re-entered the workforce four years ago and is enjoying her job working part-time at an eating disorders clinic. She is also enjoying her new role as grandmother!
Josh, 28, is still in the Army and working towards the rank of Captain. He hasn't married yet, but has had several short-term girlfriends. He just isn't quite ready to settle down yet.
Matt, 27, married Kristin Blackburn seven years ago, after the start of their junior year of college. The two of them are perfect for each other and their personalities complement each other very well. Matt is working as an athletic trainer for a local high school, and Kristin is a kindergarten teacher. The two of them have three small children--Katie, Shane, and Erika.
Adam, 24, is in his first year of medical school. He plans to become a doctor and wants to become a surgeon. He and his wife, Julia, were married just before he started the year. Julia owns a small store that sells fabric and other sewing/craft-related items. She is also an accomplished seamstress and sells some of the things she makes online.
