I really want to like it. It looks pretty, it has nice Shakespearean associations but said out loud I just hear hear the musical instrument.

It look gorgeous, it ticks so many of my boxes: it's short, ends with an "a", has a "v" in it. I even love all the sounds. But hearing this name makes a viola materialise in my mind instantly.
