I think it's a fairly nice name, classic and underused with a feminine flare. (: A great-grandmother on my dad's side of the family had this name, apparently pronounced with a soft V (Vee-O-la) although personally I much prefer vie-O-la., probably since it's closer in sound to 'Violet', a long-time favorite of mine.
