I've always liked it. Not enough to use, but I think it's kind of cool. I've never met a Cassidy; it wasn't very popular when I was born (mid-500s), so it doesn't really feel dated to any particular era to me.
I do kind of get a similar feel to Skylar. Bailey not so much. Bailey feels really insubstantial to me, and I don't get that from Cassidy.
