I like it alright. I like its simplicity. To me, Quinn it has a very similar appeal to Lynn.
I can't see it making a comeback, though. To me it's dated, about like Donna. And tends to seem empty and suffixy, like Ella or Etta, because of all the -lyn names that have been popular and still are.
I'd probably use Rose before I'd use Lynn as a first name for a baby. But I'd rather use Lynn than May - May seems too saccharine to me.
Lynn is a good name for a guy, too, IMO.
Lynn was my middle name given at birth and I think it's lame as a middle name... just seems like a suffix there, or a syllable added solely for rhythm.
