I see that almost everyone likes the nickname Joss.
I forgot to include it, and it is my favourite, because it is not cutesy nor boring.

Jo -super boring for Jocelyn
Joy -seems weird and contrived
Joyce -dated, weird, and contrived
Jocie -cutesy, babyish
Jocy -worse than the above
Jo-Lyn -hillbilly, weird, and dated
Lyn -whatever
I can't say I like any of them. I thought Joss / Jossa / Josi was gonna be on this list.
It's okay to change a letter. There's no I in James, but Jim and Jimmy get on just fine.

I've never met a Jocelyn who didn't go by the full name most of the time. It's not that long and the "e" basically disappears in everyday conversation. I can think of one Jocelyn I know whose family members called her Joss some of the time (or maybe Joc prn. Joss), but usually it was just Jocelyn.
Joss (or Joc/Joce prn. Joss), Josie, Jocy (prn. Jossy), or Lyn would make the most sense to me.
