I'm South African; I've known a couple of Alicia people, but many more Alisons and Alices.
I love Alice (which I would use) and Alison (which I would use if I were married to someone else). I don't like Alicia nearly as much - it seems over-decorated, and a Latin form of Alice isn't exactly useful.
I pronounce it aLISHa.
The only angel name I like even slightly is Angela, and even that seems rather ambitious. So, I suppose, I'd choose Alicia.
