Help[Opinions] Ambrose / Ambrosia
Ambrose, to me, has an inherently religious feel to it because Ambrose Barlow was one of the saints my primary school chose to name one of it's houses after. It's associated colour is yellow.
Looking back at the name recently, I'm finding it quite handsome, actually.
I'm unsure of the feminine Ambrosia, though.
What do you think?

Shame the general consensus is that Ambrose does not sound attractive, I'm thinking of considering it
Surprised at Ambrosia, nobody mentioned baby formula and rice pudding, but a form of fruit salad that really does not sound appetising to me (hate coconut and marshmallows, but the idea of marshmallows with fruit sounds so gross in and of itself).

Adore Ambrose, dislike Ambrosia || Ambrosine?
Ambrose is one of my favorite male names. I find it breathtakingly handsome.
Ambrosia sounds quite tacky to me. I immediately think of the nectar of the gods.
I do love Ambrosine, however.

I like both. I would be more inclined to actually use Ambrose I think. Ambrosia is gorgeous. But it is hard not to think of fruit salad.

Ambrose is very 19th century IMO; that's the vibe anyway. Top hat, side whiskers, flower in buttonhole, church on Sunday, brothel after work ...
And Ambrosia in my experience is fruit salad with shredded coconut, which has me fleeing for the exit.

Ambrosia is a fruit salad, with oranges and coconut and I think some kind of liqueur. So I think it's ridiculous as a name.
Ambrose is not very attractive to me. It just doesn't sound good. Like Amber Rose, like a tint for sunglasses or something.

Fruit salad? I'd have thought somebody might have mentioned the rice pudding / baby milk if they were to mention food at all tbh xD

Ahh I see. Can't say the fruit salad sounds good, I'm not a fan of marshmallows and tbh I wouldn't want them in my fruit salad even if I did. I'm also not a fan of coconuts. Sounds very sickly and a weird association for a name lol
Honestly I think Amber Rose sounds nice also xD but that's fair, I didn't think it sounded good at all until very recently. Weird how you suddenly find yourself switching for no reason sometimes
