I think it'd be hard to escape the tomato association, at least in the US, which is bearable but less Romantic than the associations you listed.
I don't care for
Roma, but I'll admit to liking
Romina, despite not generally liking names associated with cities/countries/tribes/nationalities.
My favorites with that (+ the MNs) would be
