Maybe it's a generational thing, but I went to school with three girls called Naomi and met a handful at university.

I have never met anyone under the age of 60 named Ruth.

The only Ruth I know must be 40 I suppose; she's got a 5-year-old. But this is South Africa, so maybe regional rather than generational? I've never met a Naomi at all.
