[Opinions] Family BA
A cousin of mine and his girlfriend recently welcomed a baby, her 1st, his 5th. A little girl named Penelope Rose, making my aunt a grandmother for the 8th time. She joins:Chasity "Chas" (18)
Dorian (10)
Gabriella "Gabby" (8)
Oliver "Ollie" (5)
Any thoughts on the newest edition?I'm a bit surprised that they choose Penelope, although it's nice that it ties well with the rest of the set, being another long-syllable name. I think Rose is lovely as always, even despite being a constant filler name. As for Penelope, I feel very neutral towards it. A nice, decent enough name IMO that's pretty much just "there" And I was actually thinking of Penelope randomly for the past few days, before the announcement of her name. So weird coincidence I guess? °~° o_0Vote on my PNL's!!!

Penelope is lovely - long, sophisticated and strong but girly at the same time. - It also has so many lovely nicknames, I love Nellie and Poppy though I really dislike Penny. It's a pity she only has such a filler middle name but Penelope Rose doesn't sound bad. And she fits very well with the siblings imo.
I don't mind Chastity but Chasity looks a bit strange to me and Dorian isn't really my thing. But I love Gabriella - if I had a daughter with this name I'd probably use a different nickname rather than Gabby but Gabby isn't bad at all - and Oliver nicknamed Ollie is great even if very popular. So overall I quite like this sibset, I think it's very well-matched without being matchy and is nicely classy.

I like Penelope a lot, and would gladly use it. Rose is pleasant with it.Is Chasity really Chasity, or Chastity with the -t- missing?

Yeah, Chasity is meant as just that. "Chas-i-tee" I admit that it isn't exactly the most "ideal" name out there (Understand why many people would object to it) but IMO, Chastity is even worse. So I'm glad it's not that. Lol

Goodness! Yes, Chastity is an improbable virtue in today's world all right, but does subtracting a letter really help? Oh well.

Uh, yeah...because Chasity at least doesn't contain "tity" as Chastity does. Plus, I think it just rolls off of the tongue better. More smoother. :¬]

Penelope Rose is cute. Homer's Odyssey gives Penelope a clever and loyal association.

Penelope Rose is pretty. My least favorite is Chasity. That's not even a word. Just a weird take on Chastity, which is an actual word.

my god Chastity has got to be one of the worst names out there and Chasity is too similar no offence, I'm sure shes lovely.Penelope Rose is super cute, I recon she'll end up a Penny and I always like Oliver.
