What a horrible sound to come our of someone's mouth- DRUUUUUUUUU. I don't understand this as a nickname for Andrew, let alone as a full name, let alone as a girls' name.

My mom's middle name
She was born in 1957, and her first name was Amy, so I was always confused that her middle name was Drew. She claimed her mom just liked the name.
I don't care for it, though I like Drusilla with the nickname Dru.

I dislike it, but I don't mind Dru. Drew works for Drew Barrymore because it is a family surname.

I really do not like it, even for a boy, even when it's short for Andrew. It's so puckery and prissy.
