This is a pretty long list, so I’ll just put the link here: https://www.britishbabynames.com/blog/2019/02/finds-from-1877.htmlThere are a lot of interesting names there! Certainly ones I didn’t expect.Any favorites? Any names that surprised you? I’ll list my favorites separately.

Cinderella
Hamlet Horatio
Haydn Verdi
StradivariusI hate titular names like Captain, Saint, etc. but honestly The Great as a middle name is so much worse, although technically easier to hide I guess. And then there's Carnage and I promise to appreciate modern strange noun names more.

Alphaeus Ebenezer - I actually quite like Ebenezer though it's hardly usable lmaoAmbrose Valentine William - Love Ambrose and Valentine. William is common but nicePeter The Great & William The Conqueror (twins) - [snort] Alright Arnold Rimmer calm downPlantaganets - what in the bleeding fuck is this name? (apparently it was a royal house)Spendlove Odessa / Spiridione Nicolo - Some of these names are just the daftest names. These are not the worst just... differentStradivarius - Suppose its like naming your kid Rhianna... just Victorian edition-Adelaide Ludovina - Love Adelaide and I suppose Ludovina is nice as a mn not my thing but its okayAliticia Thirza - I am struggling to pronounce that first name. Al-ee-tee-cee-ah?Arabella Snowdrop - hehe cuteAriana Lizzie - Nice. I don't like nicknames being used as full names, but it's in a middle name slot so it's not that badCinderella - All things considered, Cinderella is a nice name. I can see why they liked it so much, but it's not the best name for a rl baby is it. Suppose she could go by Cindy or Ella tbhEffierenda / Effeldipha Ann - Sounds like they named their kids after "effing and jeffing" so both these little girls sound like they're foul-mouthed. Golda (sn: Silver) - haha oh the poor kidLove Unity - ew not a fan Mignonette / Mira Drusilla - aw these sound cute
