[Opinions] Re: Kaylyn
in reply to a message by Raya
Very trendy (or formerly trendy), already a bit 90s dated. It was never popular but fits in with Kaylee, Kayla, Kylie, Kyla, Keely, Keeley, Kennedy.I don't hate the sound, but it feels insubstantial and looks very trendy.I think I'd try another spelling. Caelin reminds me of Caelius and Caelia, Celia and the meaning "heavenly" and not as trendy as Kaylyn. Cailin means "girl" (but I think the original pronunciation is different). It looks a bit better than Kaylyn. But still a trendy sounding name.Or I would go for a name similar in style that seems a bit more elegant like Kaia or Gaia. Or Kay, it could make a comeback.
