I don't really like the look of Michaela, but I do like the Scandinavian Mikaela.

I too dislike the Michaela spelling, even if it is the original. It just doesn't look quite right.
Mikaela is fine. I prefer Makayla or Mikayla. Makayla is our daughter's middle name. I don't really remember how that was decided on, exactly. I feel like I slightly prefer Mikayla, but I don't think it occurred to me at the time.

Since I am from Scandinavia, Mikaela isn’t weird for me, although I don’t pronounce it the English way. Tbh, I don’t really like the English pronunciation that much.
Personally, I prefer the look of Michaela because I prefer Michael over Mikael. But I have known people with both spellings. I also like Mikala and Michala (MIK-ala).

I much prefer Mikaela over any other spelling of Michaela and I only pronounce it the English way since I'm unsure how to pronounce it otherwise.
