My boyfreinds name is Spencer, and yes it should only be used for guys. No girl should ever have that name. And like I told my boyfriend it seems like a stuck up bullies names. Hé didn't day a thing just smiled. That why hé goes bey a nickname, thank goodness!

I like it. I do not get a bully vibe. I think of someone sort of studious and quiet. Having said that, I did once know a Spencer who sort of fit your description.

Spencer is okay. Not my favorite of the surname-names.
I don't think it's a bully name, it sounds more nerdy if we were to put school stereotypes onto it, but that's just me lol
