My Isobel friend is known as Iso!
I prefer Isobel (or Isabel) and Annabel; I'd consider using both (actually, either). Isabelle and Annabelle are just wrong: they aren't French (OK, Isabelle has become French), they don't have Beautiful as part of their meaning, and they are frilly and fussy and over-ornate.
Isabella immediately shortens to Bella, which I find entirely canine. I had a dog named Bella-Bark and my SIL has one named Bella, so the associations are good but not human at all (in spite of two distant great-aunts).
I've never heard Izzy as a nn; Iz might be more likely? And less silly. Dizzy, Fizzy Izzy ... no.
