I do like it a lot. I have a good friend with the name, and she doesn't use a nickname (occasionally, very occasionally she is Phil)
My friend worked for the Royal Shakespeare Company for a short time. She said there were FIVE women called Philippa in he office, and she was the only one who didn't go by Pippa or Pip, which I heartily dislike.
